How to play
Sleekit is played face to face. Your phone keeps your secrets. The TV tells the room what happened.
Joining a game
How to join
A short video with captions and no sound.
The roles
Everyone is told how many Sleekit there are and whether there is a Doctor. Nobody is told who.
Leal
Scots for loyal
Most of the table. Find the Sleekit and banish them.
Sleekit
Scots for sly
Stay hidden. Each night, choose together who to murder. Plot in the Conclave, a private chat only living Sleekit can read.
Doctor
Leal, with a power
Each night, protect one other person. If the Sleekit chose them, nobody is murdered. You cannot protect the same person two nights running.
Night
Everyone picks one other living player on their phone, and every screen looks the same.
- The Sleekit choose who to murder.
- The Doctor chooses who to protect.
- Everyone else picks who they suspect. It does nothing, but it is in the record at the end.
You can change your pick until the host closes the night.
Morning
The Reveal screen says who was murdered, or that nobody was. A Doctor's save and a missed murder look exactly the same.
A murdered player becomes a ghost. Ghosts keep watching, stay quiet about their role, and break tied votes.
The round table
Argue it out face to face. Then everyone votes on their phone for one other player.
- The TV shows the votes one at a time. The host can choose to show only the totals instead.
- The player with the most votes is banished, and the TV shows whether they were Leal or Sleekit.
- A tie means one revote: everyone except the tied players chooses between them. If it is still tied, the ghosts decide. With no ghosts, or if the ghosts tie, the game picks at random.
Winning
The Leal win when no Sleekit are left alive.
The Sleekit win when there are as many of them alive as everyone else, or more.
You win or lose as a side. Ghosts share their side's result.
One night or two
Two nights (the usual game)
Night, morning, a day to talk, a round table, a second night and morning, then the finale. Good for a weekend away: arrive Friday, finish at Sunday lunch.
One night (the short game)
A round table first, then a night and morning, then the finale. Use this one for five players.
The finale is one round table after another, with no more nights, until one side wins.
